Who would deny that Z1 bashing is as accepted a practice here as much as Jspec fascias? While there may not have been bogus accts created to delete ads, there certainly was a "ganging up" on them by people who may not share geographical or direct ties together but are more part of a "clique" within TTnet. Obviously Z1 bears culpability for the seeds they have sewn over the years, but there are more than enough people here who wouldn't give them a fair shake under any circumstances. Had 3rd parties not taken it upon themselves to raise a "TTnet lynch mob", and left the controversy/ruckus to those with actual vested interests (300degree, Z1, AMS, Mike Smith, whoever else), and instead just allowed the membership to "vote with their wallets"......would Z1 not still be a sponsor here? Would this have happened? And I repose my question...What has any of this accomplished? Nothing, execpt maybe satisfy a small group of people's desire to see Z1 kicked off of TTnet's "turf". The controversial parts are going to be continued to be sold, and now the largest Z32 vendor has zero motiviation to not supply the demand for cheaper "knock off" parts....congrats to all involved. I personally view what happened here as pretty shameful, no matter who was in the wrong for whatever.
Maybe I'm the only one who sees it this way, I can accept that.
